Logistics

Satakunta is intersected by highways 2, 8, 11, 12, and 23. These excellent transport connections are complemented by a railway, an airport, and three ports.

Port of Pori

Pori Port consists of three different harbors:

• Tahkoluoto Chemical Harbor
• Mäntyluoto Harbor
• Tahkoluoto Deep Harbor

The channel to Tahkoluoto Deep Harbor is 15.3 meters deep, making it the deepest in Finland. The draft for the liquid bulk pier and channel at Tahkoluoto is 12 meters. Mäntyluoto's channel has a depth of 12 meters, with its various piers ranging from 7.5 meters to 12 meters in depth. There is a direct railway connection to the port.

Rauma Port

The channel depth is either 7.5 meters or 12 meters.

Eurajoki Port
